When an individual sees Allah's blessings in this world with his vision and thinks about it, he realizes that the best and most truthful proof of Allah's blessings is he himself.
He starts with the name of Allah (swt) by saying "Bismillah", and confesses His Lordship. His heart finds serenity and comfort that He is Rahmann (full of grace). After accepting his Only Grantor of blessings, he praises and thanks Him by saying "Alhamdulillah".
When he realizes that others are also beneficiaries of His wide spread grace, he knows that He is "Rabb-e 'Alameen" (The Lord of the creation).
He calls him Ar-Rahmaan after seeing that everyone's sustenance is provided for.
When he observes people's disobedience to Him (swt) despite all this grace and blessings, and instead of being grateful, they neglect Allah's orders, abandon the obligatory acts (Wajibat), and commit sin, while the Graceful Allah doesn't take away His blessings, moreover He forgives their sins. Thus he is Rahmaan (Ever Graceful).
This believer observes peoples' demeanor towards each other. He sees that they commit excesses against each other and ignore the rights of others. None is safe and immune from the poison of the other. He then knows that after this, there is a Day whence Allah (swt) will avenge them. He says "Malik-e Yawm-ed Deen" (The owner of the Day of Judgement).
Once he has known these realities and is certain that there is a creator for him who provides sustenance and is Rahmaan. He kills, and He resuscitates. He creates things and then destroys them. But He (swt) is an Ever Being, none is like Him. He is the Creator, none other than Him is worth his worship.
He knows Him (swt) such by these attributes as if he sees Him directly.
That is when he changes his manner of speech and addresses Him, "Eiyaka Na'budo" (We worship You), just as when someone is praising a person in his absence and when that person comes to him, he addresses him directly.
When the traveler of the path of Tawheed sees that human heart/intellect is a target of suspicions and confusing/differing thought and none but Allah (swt) can be his Helper, he asks success in worship and means to Him by saying "Eiyaka Nasta'eeen" (And from You we ask help).
The 'Arif who has reached this level of gnosis and vision, and has found himself on the Right Path, fears going astray form it. For he knows that only Ma'soomeen are safe from going astray. Thus he ask Allahs (swt) to grant him success to remain in the Right Path of Allah (swt). and be safe from the trembling. Thus he says, "Ihdinas SiraT al MustaQeem" (guide us to the Right path).
The Right Path is a comprehensive phrase that contains understanding of orders and success in acting on them based on Islamic Shari'ah, following those whose fellowship Allah has made obligatory (Wajib), and abstaining from sins. When he realizes all this, he is made aware that there are certain servants of Allah who are the recipient of His special grace. Allah has chosen them from among the people and has made them Hujjat (proof) on people. Thus he asks Allah (swt) to join him with them (as) and keep him on their path. So that he may be safe from the ill effects of the misguidance of the misguided, the enemies of Truth, blind to the manifest reality, and opposers of well balanced path, recipients of Allah's anger and curse for whom He has prepared disgrace and tumult. Thus he says "SiraT al LaDeena An'amt 'Alaihim, Ghair-il MaGDoobe 'Alaihim wa lad Daaleen" (The path of those whom you have blessed, not of those who gained your anger, nor the ones astray).
Indeed Allah is Great
